Since 2019, The Best of PPS Film Festival has featured films by students across Portland Public Schools. Hosted at the historic Hollywood Theatre and judged by a panel of industry insiders and professionals, the Best of PPS Film Fest is a night of celebration, creativity and an opportunity to explore career paths in film.

All American High School Film Festival
I never submitted to this festival because I didn’t know about it until college but I wish I did! This festival is for talented high school filmmakers and media arts enthusiasts from around the world to screen their amazing creations, learn from top industry professionals, and create a community of shared passions and lifelong relationships.

I didn’t find out about this festival until I was 21 and wish I knew about it sooner! I encourage everyone under the age of 25 to submit because it is incredible for connecting with other filmmakers at a similar stage!
